Treadform PG is a system that utilises a versatile polyurethane structural spray applied hard coat developed specially for coating expanded polystyrene for Treadway called Polygarde (PG).

Polygarde coated foam is used extensively for the production of architectural shapes, themed elements and displays as well as for rapid production of masters, and moulds from foam shapes produced on our CNC machines, this system is known as Treadform PG.

The Polygarde coating provides a tough, slightly flexible surface with high tensile properties that is damage resistant yet maintains outstanding aesthetic finishes. It is particularly suitable for elements of a complicated shape or intricate design that would be difficult to coat with synthetic coatings.

Polyurethane technology has a wide range of uses from protective and abrasion resistant coatings, insulation, and waterproofing in the building and petrochemical industries through to composite fabrication and sport surfaces, we at Treadway have the ability to apply this technology.

Treadform Architectural Mouldings are manufactured from high-density polyurethane, which produce fine detailed designs that are suitable for both internal and external beautification of a property.

Treadform Architectural Mouldings are far more convenient and simple to install compared to the more traditional and messy plaster mouldings and troublesome timber mouldings, so lowering installation costs.

What’s more Treadform Architectural Mouldings are durable, lightweight, resistant to water, termite and heat, will not shrink, crack or warp, unlike their timber and plaster counterparts, whilst also being environmentally friendly.

Treadform Architectural Mouldings are available primed white ready to receive any architectural finishing system or specialist faux effects, or available in realistic assimilated wood finish.
